By downloading, installing, or using the Lift Ranks mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Lift Ranks is a fitness tracking application that allows users to:
Account Creation: You must create an account to use certain features of the App. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Account Termination: You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Premium Subscription: Lift Ranks offers a Premium subscription for £2.99 per month.
Free Trial: New users are eligible for a 7-day free trial of Premium features. After the trial period, your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled.
Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your iOS device settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds: Refunds are handled according to Apple's App Store refund policy. Generally, refunds are not provided for unused subscription time.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Changes will not affect existing subscriptions until renewal.
You agree NOT to:
Your Content: You retain ownership of workout data, profile information, and other content you create in the App.
License to Us: By posting content, you grant Lift Ranks a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App (e.g., showing your name and workout data on leaderboards).
Content Standards: All user-generated content must comply with our community guidelines. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
Reporting: Users can report inappropriate content or behavior. We will review reports and take appropriate action.
Fair Play: All leaderboard rankings and competition results are based on user-submitted data. We expect honest and accurate submissions.
Verification: We reserve the right to verify or remove suspicious workout records.
Medals and Achievements: Monthly medals are awarded to Premium subscribers who finish in the top 3 of their division. Medal eligibility may be revoked for violation of these Terms.
No Guarantees: We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to leaderboards or that data will always be 100% accurate due to technical limitations.
Our Rights: All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are owned by Lift Ranks and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the App without written permission.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Not Medical Advice: Lift Ranks is a fitness tracking tool and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Consult Professionals: Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any exercise program.
Use at Your Own Risk: You acknowledge that physical exercise involves inherent risks. Lift Ranks is not responsible for any injuries or health issues resulting from your use of the App or participation in exercise activities.
No Liability: We are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or health problems that may occur as a result of using the App or following any workout programs.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIFT RANKS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.

Feature Changes: We may add, remove, or modify features at our discretion without notice.
By You: You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time through the App settings.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, without refund of any fees paid.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability survive termination.
Informal Resolution: If you have a dispute, please contact us first at support@liftranks.com to attempt to resolve it informally.
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Jurisdiction: Any legal action must be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
The App is provided for use primarily in the United Kingdom and European Union. We make no claims that the App is appropriate or available for use in other locations.
The App is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the App or provide any information.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lift Ranks regarding use of the App.
